Experimental study on recycled steel fiber-reinforced concrete under repeated impact

Abstract Recycled steel fiber comes from the waste produced by machining. Adding recycled into concrete can significantly enhance toughness of concrete. In order to study impact fiber-reinforced concrete, drop weight repeated experiment method was used performance under load. Four kinds samples with different volume contents were designed and made, loading experiments five working conditions carried out. Taking height as changing parameters, corresponding blow counts first crack sample failure hammer are recorded, ductility coefficients calculated. The results show that resistance decreases increase height. With content, increases obviously. standard is best.
